Unicommerce Shares Surge 8% on Saudi Logistics Partnership
Overview

Unicommerce Esolutions shares climbed 7.8% early Monday following news of a strategic partnership with Saudi Arabia's largest logistics firm, Naqel Express. This alliance aims to bolster e-commerce logistics across Saudi Arabia, enabling brands to leverage Naqel’s extensive network for efficient last-mile delivery. The deal also opens avenues for cross-border shipments to India and across other GCC markets.

Expanding Middle East Footprint

The collaboration significantly enhances Unicommerce's operational capabilities within the Middle East. By integrating with Naqel Express's vast network, the company can now offer end-to-end e-commerce solutions, from order management to efficient last-mile delivery across Saudi Arabia.

Strategic Synergies

Naqel Express, operating under Saudi Post Logistics, boasts over 5,000 touchpoints in Saudi Arabia and a presence in more than 16 countries. This partnership allows e-commerce businesses access to this extensive infrastructure, improving fulfilment and customer experience. Unicommerce clients will benefit from seamless connectivity, Arabic invoicing, and automated shipping processes.

Cross-Border Opportunities

The deal extends beyond Saudi Arabia, providing access to delivery networks in the UAE, Bahrain, Oman, Kuwait, Qatar, Jordan, and Lebanon. Crucially, it enables Saudi-based sellers to conduct cross-border shipments directly to India, opening a significant new market for Unicommerce's services. Kapil Makhija, MD & CEO of Unicommerce, highlighted the demand for robust technology in KSA's growing e-commerce sector.

Unicommerce's Integrated Solution

Unicommerce's suite includes Uniware for inventory and order management, Shipway for courier aggregation, and Convertway for marketing automation. This comprehensive offering positions the company to capitalize on the increasing digital commerce activity in the region.
