Consultants to Help Businesses Use Codex

OpenAI's Chief Revenue Officer, Denise Dresser, said these consulting partners will help companies use Codex effectively. The goal is to expand Codex use worldwide and help businesses embed the tool into their daily work. This move comes amid intense competition from rivals like Anthropic, which has gained traction with its own coding and AI agent products.

Expanding Codex Beyond Coding

Beyond updating existing code, OpenAI's consulting partners will integrate Codex "into every single line of business," according to Dresser. This includes areas like marketing, finance, and sales – fields where AI coding tools are less common. OpenAI already works with firms like Bain & Co and PwC for its ChatGPT Enterprise offerings.

New VP to Lead Partnerships

In a related development, OpenAI named Colleen Kapase as its new vice president of global partnerships and ecosystem on Tuesday. Kapase, formerly with Google's cloud division, will manage these consulting partnerships, highlighting OpenAI's focus on this area.
