Kerala is on the cusp of a significant transformation that Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan believes will redefine how the state's young population learns, innovates, and builds the future. V Sivankutty, Minister for General Education and Labour, Kerala, also addressed the gathering, acknowledging the state's substantial progress in skill education. He stated that collaborations aimed at strengthening skill development will be actively pursued. Furthermore, steps are in motion to establish a Skill India International Centre in the state capital, Thiruvananthapuram.
Global Perspectives and Future Focus
Saeed Al Falasi, Executive Director at the Dubai Centre of AI, Dubai Future Foundation, shared insights on the necessity of a mindset shift to embrace technology-driven progress. He cited Dubai's experience as a prime example of how adapting mindsets facilitated major leaps forward.
S D Shibulal, co-founder of Infosys and vice-chairman of the High Power IT Committee, Government of Kerala, identified critical focus areas for Kerala's transition. These include building an AI-ready state, selecting specialized development domains like space-tech, and ensuring the state remains clean and free from pollution. Huddle Global 2025, in its seventh edition, successfully showcased the robust strength of Kerala's startup ecosystem.
