Franklin Templeton's Benji Technology Platform is now live on the Canton Network, marking a significant step in expanding the asset manager's presence within regulated digital asset markets. This integration is designed to provide institutional investors with broader access to tokenized investment products. The Benji platform is now linked to Canton's Global Collateral Network, a distributed system built to connect traditional financial markets with on-chain ecosystems. Roger Bayston, head of digital assets at Franklin Templeton, stated, "Our bottom line is to meet institutions where they are, and just as importantly, where they’re headed. Integrating with the Canton Network gives clients interoperability and privacy without compromising transparency or security." This integration is also set to bolster Canton's role in institutional decentralized finance (DeFi), especially through its Global Collateral Network.
