First Car Rake Arrives in Mizoram, Boosting Northeast Connectivity
Mizoram's capital, Aizawl, has officially welcomed its first-ever automobile rake, marking a significant milestone for the region's connectivity and the Indian Railways' freight diversification efforts. The consignment of 119 Maruti Suzuki cars arrived at the newly operational Sairang Railway Station, located approximately 20 km from Aizawl.
