Employment and Inclusivity

Recognized startups have emerged as a crucial source of employment. Between 2016 and October 31, 2024, these ventures created over 1.66 million direct jobs. The Information Technology services sector leads this job creation, followed by healthcare and life sciences, and professional services.

Progress has also been made in inclusivity, with a significant number of recognized startups having at least one woman director, indicating a growing role for women in entrepreneurship.
