Bengaluru-Based AI Startup Runable Raises $21 Million

AI agent platform Runable has secured $21 million in Series A funding led by Susquehanna Venture Capital and Nexus Venture Partners. The Bengaluru-based company plans to use the capital to scale its product team and expand its autonomous marketing services for small businesses. With 1.5 million users, the startup is now focusing on long-term growth in a crowded and competitive AI agent market.

Bengaluru-based AI startup Runable has successfully raised $21 million in a Series A funding round. The investment was co-led by Susquehanna Venture Capital and Nexus Venture Partners, with additional participation from existing investors, including Together Fund and Array VC. Founded in 2025, the company specializes in building autonomous AI agents designed to help small business owners handle complex operations, ranging from marketing campaigns to website management.

The capital injection marks a significant milestone for the firm, which gained early attention by reporting $2 million in annual recurring revenue—a measure of predictable yearly income—within just three weeks of its launch. Currently, the platform claims to serve 1.5 million users. With this new funding, the company aims to broaden its product offerings and marketing reach, while also expanding its workforce in engineering and machine learning.

Runable is also planning to scale its internal educational module, known as Runable Academy. This initiative is designed to help small business owners learn essential growth skills, aligning with the company's goal of acting as a partner for lean, service-based agencies and consultancies. By automating tasks that would typically require a larger team, Runable aims to position itself as a holistic operating system for small enterprises.

However, the business faces notable challenges as it looks to sustain its early momentum. The AI agent sector is highly competitive, with numerous companies vying for a share of the small business market. Additionally, Runable’s operations are heavily reliant on major third-party ecosystems like Meta, Google, LinkedIn, and TikTok to execute marketing tasks. This reliance means that any sudden changes in the policies or software access—often called APIs—of these tech giants could directly affect the startup's ability to provide its services.

Beyond external pressures, the company must also manage the risks associated with rapid scaling. Moving from an early-stage startup to a platform supporting millions of users requires significant investment in infrastructure and management to ensure reliability. As the company continues to grow, observers and stakeholders will likely monitor whether the startup can maintain its initial revenue growth rate and prove the long-term viability of its business model against established competitors in the global AI landscape.
