Inox Wind Limited has secured new orders amounting to a total of 229 megawatts (MW). The company announced on Thursday that it received a 160 MW order from a leading independent power producer for its 3.3 MW wind turbine generators. This order includes a firm 112 MW with an option for an additional 48 MW. It also comprises limited-scope Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) services and multi-year Operations and Maintenance (O&M) contracts post-commissioning.
Additionally, Inox Wind secured a repeat order of 69 MW from another significant renewable energy player, which is part of a large global clean energy company, for a project in Maharashtra. This follows a previous 153 MW contract from the same customer in March, indicating a strengthening business relationship.
Kailash Tarachandani, Group CEO, Renewables, INOXGFL Group, expressed delight, stating that these orders reflect the trust clients place in Inox Wind's technology, execution, and service. Sanjeev Agarwal, CEO of Inox Wind Ltd, added that the order inflows are strong endorsements of the company's advanced 3 MW class turbine technology and growing presence in the renewable energy sector. He also mentioned advanced discussions with other customers, aiming to close FY26 with a substantial order book.
Impact 7/10 These new orders are a positive development for Inox Wind, boosting its order book and revenue visibility. They signify growing demand for renewable energy solutions in India and reinforce the company's position as a key player in the wind energy market.
