Niveshaay, a SEBI-registered Alternative Investment Fund (AIF) management firm, has spearheaded a significant ₹325 crore funding round for Waaree Energy Storage Systems Pvt Ltd (WESSPL), the battery arm of the Waaree Group. Niveshaay invested a cumulative ₹128 crore via its Niveshaay Sambhav Fund (Category II), Niveshaay Hedgehogs Fund (Category III), and the new Niveshaay WESS Fund, one of India's first dedicated Collective Investment Vehicles (CIVs) for this sector. Co-investors include Vivek Jain and Saket Agarwal.
