M3M India is set to invest a substantial Rs 7,200 crore in developing a new 150-acre integrated township project called 'Gurgaon International City' (GIC) in Gurugram, as part of its expansion strategy. This ambitious project, situated on the Dwarka Expressway Link Road, is projected to generate a topline revenue of approximately Rs 12,000 crore.
The township is designed as a futuristic hub, incorporating diverse components such as data centers, innovation parks, electric vehicle (EV) hubs, retail spaces, and premium residential areas. M3M India aims to attract leading global corporations, including technology giants like Google, Apple, and Microsoft, along with Tesla, to foster innovation and sustainable growth. Pankaj Bansal, Promoter of M3M India, highlighted this vision.
The first phase of 'Gurgaon International City' spans 50 acres, has already received RERA approval, and will feature 300 residential plots. The development emphasizes a low-emission, clean industry model, intended to host non-polluting industrial units, advanced manufacturing facilities, and technology-focused businesses. M3M India currently boasts a portfolio of 62 projects, with 40 developments completed, covering over 20 million square feet.
Impact This significant investment by M3M India is expected to boost the Gurugram real estate market, create numerous employment opportunities, and enhance the region's infrastructure, particularly in areas like technology and sustainable development. It could also attract further investment into the region. The rating for the impact on the real estate sector and associated industries is 8/10.
