WeWork India Managing Director and CEO Karan Virwani reports no slowdown in office market demand, projecting India's Global Capability Center (GCC) workforce could swell to 10-20 million. Global firms are increasingly shifting towards insourcing operations in India due to lower costs compared to outsourcing. WeWork is observing heightened interest from mid-tier global businesses, expanding beyond Fortune 500 companies. The company is on track to meet its 20,000-desk expansion target this fiscal year, adding to its current 115,000 operational desks. Office leasing in H1 2025, largely driven by GCC demand and flexible workspaces, reached 48.9 million sq ft.
