TDI Infrastructure is injecting ₹100 crore into its flagship integrated township, TDI City, located in Kundli. The township is a sprawling 1,100-acre development. Once considered a peripheral area, Kundli is now experiencing significant real estate value appreciation. This growth is driven by major infrastructure enhancements that are reshaping the National Capital Region (NCR). Key infrastructure projects have dramatically improved Kundli's connectivity. The recently opened Urban Extension Road-II (UER-II) provides a direct link from NH-1 to Indira Gandhi International Airport and Gurugram, reducing travel time to Central Delhi to under 40 minutes. Further integration into NCR's network is facilitated by the KMP Expressway, an upcoming Delhi Metro extension, and the Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS) corridor.
Akshay Taneja, CEO of TDI Infrastructure Ltd., envisions TDI City, Kundli as the 'Gurgaon of the North,' aiming to create a vibrant, connected, and aspirational living space that also helps decongest New Delhi through balanced regional development. TDI Infrastructure has a track record of delivering over 2,500 acres across Delhi NCR, Punjab, Haryana, and Uttar Pradesh. The company also recently became debt-free, clearing dues exceeding ₹2,000 crore.
Impact: This investment signals strong confidence in the Kundli region's growth potential, driven by enhanced infrastructure and connectivity. It is likely to further boost real estate values and attract further development, benefiting the company and regional economic activity. Rating: 7/10
