BuildNext Acquisition Boosts JSW One's Home Services

JSW One Platforms aims for a dominant position in India's growing home construction market with this strategic acquisition. By combining BuildNext's expertise in design, execution, and project management with its own strengths in supply chain and material procurement, JSW One Homes plans to offer a complete, start-to-finish solution.

The move addresses the fragmented nature of the home construction sector. Gaurav Sachdeva, CEO of JSW One Platforms, noted that customers often struggle with coordination, lack of transparency, and trust issues. The acquisition of BuildNext, a Kochi-based firm founded in 2015 known for its technology-enabled services including virtual reality experience centers, aims to fix these issues.

As part of the deal, Pidilite Ventures will swap its BuildNext shares for JSW One stock. Pidilite Ventures will remain involved, approving an additional investment of up to ₹22 crore in BuildNext. This move signals confidence in the combined company's future growth, even considering BuildNext's recent financial results.
