DK Vertex has secured a substantial 1 million square feet of coworking space spread across seven prime locations in Delhi-NCR, Bengaluru, and Mumbai. This move by the new entrant, part of the global Vertex Group and backed by a ₹300 crore investment, aims to cater to the evolving needs of startups and established businesses. The platform is set to offer 10,000 tech-enabled, built-to-suit seats.
Integrated Business Ecosystem
The company is not just providing desks; it's creating a comprehensive recreational business ecosystem. This includes state-of-the-art podcast studios, spaces for ad shoots, dedicated wellness zones, and AI-powered concierge support. DK Vertex positions itself as a provider of end-to-end solutions for workspace needs and business growth, integrating services such as IT, InfoSec, payroll, hiring, and analytics onto a single digital platform.
Market Transformation
Gagan Arora, founder and president of Vertex Group, highlighted the inspiration behind DK Vertex, citing a gap in traditional workspaces that were designed for occupancy rather than operational efficiency and growth. He noted how existing providers often left companies managing multiple vendors and administrative burdens, hindering collaboration and employee well-being.
Of the total leased area, 700,000 sq ft is designated for workspaces, with the remaining 300,000 sq ft allocated for ancillary and recreational facilities. Currently, 6,000 seats are operational and 75% occupied. An additional 4,000 built-to-suit seats are expected to be available within the next two months. The client base includes a diverse mix of high-growth startups, MSMEs, and over 15 Fortune 500 companies, with a notable 70% of occupants being international brands. This expansion is occurring within India's flexible workspace sector, which is projected to grow significantly.
