Preliminary information indicates that the students were using a wooden ladder to facilitate the cleaning of the open tank. During the process, the ladder collapsed, causing the entire group to fall into the tank, which contained accumulated waste and stagnant water. Emergency services were alerted to the scene, and all 13 victims, aged between 15 and 18, were transported to medical facilities for urgent treatment. Rohin, a 17-year-old hailing from Haryana, was declared deceased.
