LEAP India, Technocraft Ventures IPOs Close With Strong Demand

Both LEAP India and Technocraft Ventures concluded their IPO subscriptions on August 11, 2026, receiving heavy interest from institutional and retail investors. While subscription numbers were high, investors are now shifting focus toward allotment status and listing gains. The companies are scheduled to list on the stock exchanges on August 14, 2026.

The initial public offerings of LEAP India and Technocraft Ventures closed for subscription on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, marking a busy day for primary market investors. Both companies witnessed healthy oversubscription, signaling continued appetite in the equity markets despite specific valuation and business model concerns.

LEAP India's IPO, which aimed to raise ₹2,480 crore, was subscribed 8.38 times by the end of the final day. The bulk of the interest came from Qualified Institutional Buyers, who bid 16.84 times their allocated portion, and Non-Institutional Investors, who subscribed 12.64 times. The company plans to use the fresh proceeds to reduce debt and improve working capital. However, investors may note that the valuation at the upper price band of ₹159 translates to a high price-to-earnings (P/E) multiple of 113.6 times based on FY26 earnings. Additionally, the company has reported a relatively low return on equity (ROE) of 6.19%, which implies that profitability relative to shareholder capital will be a key metric to monitor in the coming quarters.

Technocraft Ventures experienced more intense demand, closing with an overall subscription of 38.69 times. The offering was particularly popular among institutional investors and high-net-worth individuals, with the QIB portion covered 42.26 times and the NII portion subscribed 65.06 times. The company operates as an engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) firm, focusing heavily on infrastructure projects in northern India. While the strong subscription reflects market confidence in its growth trajectory, the business model carries inherent risks. Since Technocraft depends significantly on government contracts, its financial performance is susceptible to changes in government policy, project execution delays, and payment cycles typical in the infrastructure sector.

The next step for investors in both IPOs is the share allotment process, which is expected to be finalized on August 12, 2026. Refunds for unsuccessful applicants are likely to be processed shortly thereafter. Shares of both companies are slated to debut on the NSE and BSE on August 14, 2026. Given the high subscription numbers, all eyes will be on whether the listing price can sustain the demand witnessed during the bidding phase. For the long term, investors will likely track whether LEAP India can improve its return ratios and whether Technocraft Ventures can efficiently manage its working capital requirements in a competitive infrastructure landscape.
