A Delhi-based restaurateur has reported receiving multiple extortion calls from individuals claiming to represent the fugitive gangster Goldy Brar. Rajkumar Walia, who owns two prominent establishments in Punjabi Bagh, BREATH Fine Lounge & Bar and Markaz Bar & Restaurant, filed a formal police complaint regarding the threats. According to the complaint, Walia received a voice note on July 18 originating from an international phone number. The caller demanded a payment of ₹5 crore and escalated the threat by stating that the demand would rise to ₹10 crore if any harm were to befall his family.
On July 19, Walia reportedly received follow-up calls from a different international number. During these interactions, the caller identified himself as Manish Kharkhoda, claiming to be the brother of Goldy Brar, and reiterated the initial demand for money. Despite informing the callers about his financial limitations, the threats continued, prompting Walia to seek police protection for himself and his family members due to safety concerns.

The Punjabi Bagh Police Station has officially registered a First Information Report regarding this matter. Investigative authorities are currently tracing the international numbers used to initiate the calls and are examining the nature of the communication to verify the identity of the perpetrators.
