Apar Industries Rises 3% After FY26 Growth Performance

Apar Industries shares gained 2.97% on Wednesday, reflecting investor optimism following strong fiscal year 2026 results and recent plans to raise Rs 2,500 crore. The company, which specializes in power conductors and cables, is now focusing on expansion to meet rising demand in energy and data infrastructure.

Apar Industries shares climbed 2.97% to trade at Rs 15,891.00 on Wednesday, marking a strong performance on the Nifty Midcap 150 index. This price movement follows a period of significant growth for the company, which reported annual revenue of Rs 22,902.12 crore for the fiscal year ending March 2026.

The recent investor enthusiasm is tied to both historical financial performance and future expansion plans. On July 30, 2026, shareholders approved a proposal allowing the company to raise up to Rs 2,500 crore through the issuance of securities, such as equity or convertible instruments. This capital infusion is intended to fund the company’s future growth, likely focusing on capacity expansion as it navigates high demand for power infrastructure.

Apar Industries has established itself as a key supplier in sectors like power transmission, distribution, and cable manufacturing. The demand for its products is currently supported by global grid modernization efforts, the growth of data center infrastructure, and the ongoing integration of renewable energy sources into power grids. In the quarter ending June 2026, the company reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 467.19 crore, showing a significant rise from the Rs 253.32 crore recorded in the previous quarter.

While the company has maintained a healthy financial profile with a low debt-to-equity ratio, usually between 0.11 and 0.16, there are challenges to consider. Profit margins are currently being tested by rising input costs, specifically in freight, insurance, and specialty polymer segments. Supply chain fluctuations, sometimes linked to regional geopolitical tensions, also remain a variable that can impact raw material costs.

Another important aspect for investors is execution risk. As the company prepares to deploy the newly approved capital for expansion, the timeline and efficiency of these projects will become critical to maintaining its growth trajectory. The transition from strong historical numbers to future output will require careful management of rising operational expenses.

Moving forward, the primary monitorables for investors include the progress of the planned capital raise and how the company balances its expansion spending with the need to protect profit margins against volatile input costs. Shareholders will also track the quarterly updates to see if the demand from the power and data center segments can continue to offset the pressure on margins.
