Netflix has entered into a significant collaboration with the prominent Indian film production company, Yash Raj Films (YRF). This partnership will make a carefully chosen collection of YRF's renowned movies accessible to Netflix users across more than 190 countries worldwide. The films will be released in stages, synchronized with special events, festivals, and important anniversaries in cinema history.
Key film releases include nine Shah Rukh Khan films, such as "Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge" and "Veer-Zaara," starting Saturday to mark his 60th birthday. Three Salman Khan blockbusters like "Tiger Zinda Hai" will be available from December 27. Films from Ranveer Singh, including "Band Baaja Baaraat," begin streaming from November 14. Additionally, a large batch of 34 films will be added between December 12-28, with the "Dhoom" trilogy and "Mardaani" series launching later. A romantic film collection is set for Valentine's week.
