The proposed definition of "obscene" is broad, potentially including content deemed defamatory, containing "half truths," promoting "anti-national attitudes," or criticizing societal norms, affecting major platforms like Netflix, Prime Video, and Disney+ Hotstar, as well as digital news publishers.
