The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has raided the offices and residences of top executives of online gaming companies Gameskraft and WinZO in Bengaluru, Delhi, and Gurugram. The searches were conducted following FIRs alleging that these companies manipulated their app algorithms to disadvantage gamers and indicated potential money laundering through cryptocurrencies. This action follows the government's recent introduction of a new online gaming law, after which both companies had discontinued their real-money gaming businesses.
