Overview

Delaware Bankruptcy Court has issued a default judgment of over $1.07 billion against Byju Raveendran, founder of the edtech giant Byju's. The ruling stems from his repeated failure to comply with court-ordered discovery in a legal proceeding concerning Byju's Alpha. The judgment includes $533 million for alleged fraudulent transfer of funds and $540.6 million tied to assets in a US hedge fund.
