Vaibhav Vyapaar IPO: Price Band Fixed at ₹50-52, Opens Oct 13

Vaibhav Vyapaar, which operates the LoanFront digital lending app, has announced a price band of ₹50-52 per share for its ₹40.54 crore SME IPO. The subscription window opens on October 13, 2026, and closes on October 15. Investors should be aware of the risks involved in SME listings, including geographic concentration of its loan book and regulatory sensitivity.

Vaibhav Vyapaar, a non-banking finance company (NBFC) that provides digital personal loans under the LoanFront brand, is set to enter the capital market with an SME IPO. The company has fixed its price band at ₹50 to ₹52 per equity share. Through this fresh issue of shares, the firm aims to raise approximately ₹40.54 crore, which it intends to use to strengthen its capital base for future lending operations.

The public subscription phase is scheduled to open on October 13, 2026, and will remain open until October 15. Following the subscription, the shares are expected to be listed on the NSE Emerge platform on October 21, 2026. As an SME (Small and Medium Enterprise) IPO, this offering differs from a standard mainboard IPO, and investors should be mindful that liquidity on the NSE Emerge platform can sometimes be lower compared to the main exchange.

Business Model and Financial Performance

Founded in 2009 and licensed by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) in 2010, Vaibhav Vyapaar focuses on providing unsecured personal loans to salaried and self-employed individuals. Its digital-first approach through the LoanFront application is the core of its business. The company has also expanded into co-lending arrangements, where it acts as a loan originator and servicer.

The company’s financial statements indicate growth. For the fiscal year ending March 2026, it reported a profit of ₹1.97 crore on a revenue of ₹36.8 crore. This trend continued into the first four months of the current fiscal year (ending July 2026), where the company reported a profit of ₹3 crore on revenue of ₹18 crore. While this suggests an upward trend, investors should evaluate whether this growth pace is sustainable.

Risks and Market Context

Investing in NBFCs and SME IPOs comes with specific risks that potential investors should carefully consider. A key risk for Vaibhav Vyapaar is its geographic concentration. A significant portion of its loan book is focused on specific states in Southern India, which makes the company vulnerable to regional economic downturns, local regulatory changes, or natural calamities in those areas.

Additionally, the company relies heavily on repeat customers, who account for approximately 80% of its total assets under management. While repeat business can lower customer acquisition costs, a failure to retain these clients or changes in their borrowing preferences could negatively impact the loan book. Furthermore, as a digital lender, the company is highly sensitive to the evolving regulatory landscape set by the RBI. Any tightening of norms for digital lending or unsecured loans could increase the cost of compliance or limit the company's ability to scale. Interest rate volatility is another factor to watch, as it directly affects the margins of an NBFC.

The final benefit of the IPO will depend on the company's ability to maintain its loan quality, manage its cost of funds, and navigate the regulatory environment for digital lenders.
