Gamp Services has filed draft papers for an IPO of 46.93 lakh shares to upgrade its technology and expand its business. The company reported a 37.9% rise in annual profit for FY26. Investors will likely watch how the firm utilizes these funds for potential acquisitions and manages its growth in the compliance and validation sector.
Gujarat-based Gamp Services has filed its draft red herring prospectus with SEBI to launch an initial public offering. The company intends to issue 46.93 lakh shares in total, consisting of a fresh issue of 31.93 lakh shares and an offer for sale of 15 lakh shares. The offer for sale involves existing promoters, including Sanjeevkumar Mahendrakumar Patel, Girish Agrawal, and Gaurav M Shah, who will be offloading portions of their current stake.
The firm has earmarked Rs 40.05 crore from the fresh issue proceeds primarily for upgrading its equipment and IT hardware. These investments are intended to support the company’s compliance, validation, and data logger manufacturing divisions. Furthermore, the company has set aside funds for inorganic growth, which includes plans to acquire other businesses to help scale its operations more rapidly. A potential pre-IPO placement of 6.38 lakh shares is also being considered, which may adjust the final size of the fresh issue.
Financial performance for the year ending March 2026 shows a steady growth trend. The company reported a profit of Rs 11 crore, representing a 37.9% increase compared to the previous year. Revenue during the same period grew by 28.3%, reaching Rs 45.8 crore. This positive momentum has carried into the current fiscal year as well, with the company recording a profit of Rs 5.8 crore on revenues of Rs 19.5 crore for the first quarter ended June 2026.
Gamp Services operates as a specialist in compliance and validation, helping manufacturing companies meet regulatory and quality standards for their facilities, utilities, and computerized systems. In addition to these consulting services, the firm also acts as a distributor for specialized instrumentation sourced from global original equipment manufacturers. Valmiki Leela Capital has been onboarded as the merchant banker to guide the company through the public issue process.
For investors, the firm’s strategy involves balancing its core consulting services with its distribution business. The success of this IPO will depend on the company's ability to maintain its profit margins while executing its planned upgrades and acquisitions. A key monitorable for the market will be the company’s ability to integrate these potential new acquisitions and sustain the growth rates seen in the previous fiscal year. As the company moves toward public listing, the effectiveness of its capital allocation and its ability to navigate the compliance needs of its manufacturing clients will remain central to its long-term business health.
