Fusion CX is preparing for a ₹1,000 crore Initial Public Offering expected in October, including a ₹600 crore fresh issue. The Kolkata-based company reported a 128% jump in net profit for FY26. Investors should track the company's reliance on North American markets and its integration of AI technology through its dedicated division, Omind.
Kolkata-based customer experience provider Fusion CX is moving ahead with plans to launch an Initial Public Offering (IPO) of ₹1,000 crore by October 2026. According to the company's disclosure, the planned public issue consists of a fresh issuance of equity shares worth approximately ₹600 crore, while the remaining portion will be an Offer for Sale (OFS), where existing shareholders sell their stake. The final timeline remains subject to market conditions and regulatory approvals.
Financial Growth and Performance Trends
The company has reported strong financial results for the fiscal year ended 2026. Net profit rose by 128.3% compared to the previous year, reaching ₹170 crore. Revenue from operations also saw steady momentum, growing by 36.8% to touch ₹1,818 crore. Furthermore, the company’s operating profit, measured as EBITDA, grew by 66.8% to ₹330 crore. Managing Director Pankaj Dhanuka noted that the firm has maintained a compound annual growth rate of approximately 35% in its top line between FY24 and FY26, with expectations for continued profitability expansion.
Business Model and Geographic Exposure
Fusion CX operates as a global customer experience provider, managing interactions for various clients. A crucial factor for investors to understand is the company's geographic concentration. Approximately 85% of its revenue originates from the United States and Canada. This high dependence on the North American region means that changes in demand, economic conditions, or currency fluctuations in these specific countries could significantly impact the company's overall revenue.
Domestic Indian operations contribute about 11% of the total revenue, while the UK and Europe account for the remaining 3%. The company, which began its journey in 2004, currently maintains a workforce of about 17,000 employees across 30 locations in 15 countries.
AI Integration and Future Monitorables
To keep up with changing technology in the customer service sector, the company has established a specialized division named Omind to house its artificial intelligence (AI) initiatives and products. This unit consolidates the company’s investments in AI, which started roughly five years ago. As Fusion CX moves toward its IPO, investors will likely focus on the company's ability to maintain its profit margins while scaling these AI-driven solutions. Key areas to monitor include the successful use of the fresh issue proceeds for growth, the company's ability to diversify its revenue beyond North America, and how the competitive landscape in the customer experience industry evolves with the rapid adoption of AI.
