ArMee Infotech IPO Opens Sept 23; Price Band ₹350-375

ArMee Infotech is launching its ₹300-crore IPO from September 23 to 25. The company will use most of the proceeds to secure performance bank guarantees and manage working capital. At the upper price band, the company is valued at ₹1,190 crore.

ArMee Infotech is entering the primary market with a ₹300-crore initial public offering (IPO), with the subscription window set to open from September 23 to September 25. The company has fixed its price band between ₹350 and ₹375 per share. At the upper end of this range, the total market valuation of the company would be approximately ₹1,190 crore. Shares are expected to list on stock exchanges on September 30.

The IPO consists entirely of a fresh issue of equity shares. This means all money raised will flow directly into the company’s accounts, rather than providing an exit to existing promoters or shareholders. Retail investors interested in the issue can apply for a minimum of 40 shares, requiring a starting investment of ₹15,000 at the upper price band. The company has allocated up to 52.5% of the shares to retail investors.

A major portion of the funds raised will be used to support the company’s growth plans in the renewable energy sector. ArMee Infotech plans to allocate ₹155 crore to secure performance bank guarantees. In the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) business, which the company operates within its renewable energy division, contractors are often required to provide these guarantees to clients to ensure project completion. This indicates a high requirement for financial backing to handle larger-scale projects. Additionally, the company plans to use ₹60 crore for working capital needs to manage daily operations and ₹6.5 crore for debt repayment.

The company operates a diverse business model. It provides IT infrastructure and managed services, and also runs retail stores selling technology and gaming equipment. Simultaneously, it has entered the renewable energy field, working on solar power projects and battery energy storage systems. Because these two segments—IT services and infrastructure projects—have very different operating styles, investors may consider how the company balances its cash flow. Infrastructure projects in the renewable energy space can sometimes face longer payment cycles and more capital-intensive requirements than typical IT service businesses.

As the issue date approaches, investors will likely track the subscription trends across institutional and retail categories. Post-listing, the key monitorable for the business will be the company's ability to maintain healthy working capital levels, especially as it scales its renewable energy segment where project execution and timely payments are critical for profitability.
