Antala Industries IPO Closes With 12.2x Subscription

Antala Industries has wrapped up its SME IPO with a 12.2 times subscription rate, drawing strong interest from institutional buyers. The packaging firm, based in Rajkot, plans to use the Rs 22.98 crore raised to fund machinery expansion and working capital. Shares are set to debut on the BSE SME platform on November 11.

Antala Industries, a Rajkot-based manufacturer of industrial packaging, has successfully closed its initial public offering on November 5, 2026. The company saw robust interest from investors, with the total subscription reaching 12.2 times the shares offered. This offering, conducted through the BSE SME platform, aimed to raise Rs 22.98 crore to support the company’s growth plans.

Qualified institutional buyers were the most active, subscribing 66.72 times their allocated portion. Non-institutional investors followed with a subscription of 37.38 times, while retail investors subscribed 5.22 times. The company set its price band between Rs 62 and Rs 66 per share to attract this capital.

The firm specializes in manufacturing industrial packaging products such as BOPP bags and woven fabrics. These products are supplied to diverse sectors including food processing, fertilizers, chemicals, and cement. The company intends to direct Rs 10.68 crore of the IPO proceeds toward its daily working capital requirements, ensuring smooth operations. Additionally, Rs 5.89 crore is allocated for capital expenditure, which the company plans to use to acquire new manufacturing machinery to boost its production capacity.

Investors considering this stock should note that Antala Industries has a relatively short corporate operating history, having been incorporated as a public company in August 2024. As with many firms in the SME space, the business is exposed to potential volatility in raw material costs, particularly for inputs like polypropylene. Additionally, the company faces typical risks associated with scaling operations, such as customer concentration and the need to maintain demand across the sectors it serves. SME stocks can also experience significant price fluctuations after listing due to lower trading liquidity compared to larger main-board companies.

With the bidding phase concluded, the company will proceed to finalize the allotment of shares by November 6, 2026. For those who applied for the IPO, the status of their allotment will be the next key detail to track. The shares are expected to begin trading on the BSE SME platform on November 11, 2026, where the market will determine the stock’s performance based on the company’s actual business execution and future earnings growth.
