5 IPOs to Launch This Week Targeting ₹2,600 Crore

Five companies, including EAAA India Alternatives and SFC Environmental Technologies, are set to launch IPOs worth ₹2,600 crore between October 26 and October 29. The week marks another busy period for the Indian primary market, offering investors a mix of expansion-focused fresh issues and offer-for-sale (OFS) routes by existing shareholders.

The Indian primary market remains in a high-activity phase, with five companies gearing up to raise a collective ₹2,600 crore through initial public offerings (IPOs) scheduled between October 26 and October 29. This influx of new listings follows a record-breaking September, which saw ₹30,213 crore raised, pushing the year-to-date capital mobilization in the primary market past the ₹1.4 trillion mark.

Leading the IPO rush is EAAA India Alternatives, which is launching a ₹1,200-crore issue on October 26. The offering is structured as an offer for sale (OFS), meaning the capital raised will go to existing shareholders rather than the company’s own balance sheet. The price band for this offering is set between ₹1,585 and ₹1,665 per share. Early investor interest appears steady, with the company securing ₹360 crore through its anchor investor allocation prior to the public subscription.

Other companies are tapping the market with specific capital-raising goals. SFC Environmental Technologies is entering the market to raise ₹668 crore. Notably, ₹150 crore of this amount will be raised via a fresh issue, which the company intends to use for reducing debt and strengthening working capital. For investors, debt reduction is often viewed as a step toward improving financial stability. Meanwhile, M K Sons Fine Jewels is targeting ₹275.4 crore to support the expansion of its showroom network in Gujarat and Maharashtra, aiming to grow its physical footprint in key markets.

Manufacturing and industrial companies are also participating in this week’s IPO wave. BLS Polymers has planned a ₹255-crore issue to increase its production capacity, while Bombay Coated and Special Steels is aiming to raise funds for debt restructuring and the procurement of new capital equipment. These moves reflect a broader trend where companies are accessing public funds to either modernize infrastructure or scale up operations to meet rising industrial demand.

Investors monitoring this week’s IPOs may want to distinguish between the two primary ways these companies are raising funds. Issues structured as fresh capital (like portions of the SFC and BLS Polymers offerings) directly support the company's business expansion or debt reduction. In contrast, OFS-heavy issues allow existing stakeholders to exit or reduce their holdings. Understanding this distinction is important, as fresh issues generally have a more direct impact on a company’s future growth capacity.

As the week progresses, market participants will be observing how these five offerings are priced and subscribed. Given the holiday season approaching in early November, specifically the Labh Pancham period which impacts trading and business activity in Gujarat, market experts expect companies to finalize their pricing and launch strategies by November 5 to maintain momentum. The strength of subscription numbers for these upcoming issues will be the next key monitorable to gauge investor appetite before the end of the calendar year.
