Investigations by the STF reveal that Rauf allegedly entered India illegally after residing in Nepal since 2012. Authorities state that he operated under the alias 'Wahf' and utilized forged Indian identity documents to blend into the local environment. These fraudulent documents, which included a fabricated Kolkata address, were confiscated during his arrest.
