The visit served to reinforce India’s bilateral ties with the Palestinian Authority, focusing on essential cooperation in health, education, and long-term development initiatives.
During her stay in Ramallah, Ranganathan held high-level discussions with Palestinian Prime Minister Mohammad Mustafa and Foreign Minister Varsen Aghabekian Shahin. A primary outcome of the trip was the formal delivery of a new consignment of medical supplies to the Palestinian Ministry of Health. This aid follows India's established pattern of supporting the region through the donation of essential medicines and anti-cancer drugs.
Advancing Development Projects
Beyond immediate humanitarian assistance, the visit addressed the status of several long-term infrastructure projects. India is currently advancing plans for the construction of a specialty hospital, an artificial limb fitment center, and a vocational training institute in Palestine.
