Ratnaveer Precision Hits 52-Week High on Profit Growth

Ratnaveer Precision Engineering shares hit a 52-week high of Rs 215.50 after reporting a 22% jump in quarterly profit. The company is now diversifying into electronics-grade materials through a major expansion project.

Shares of Ratnaveer Precision Engineering reached a fresh 52-week high of Rs 215.50 on the National Stock Exchange this Tuesday. This price move comes after two consecutive days of gains, during which the stock rose approximately 15 percent. The market reaction follows the company's latest financial results for the quarter ended June 2026.

Financial Growth and Operational Scale

The company reported a 22.01 percent increase in net profit, which climbed to Rs 18.24 crore compared to Rs 14.95 crore in the same period last year. Revenue from operations also grew by 19 percent, reaching Rs 315 crore against Rs 265 crore year-on-year. For a small-cap engineering firm, this performance highlights its ability to manage production costs while expanding its top-line revenue.

Strategic Pivot to Electronics Manufacturing

Beyond current quarterly numbers, Ratnaveer Precision Engineering is shifting its business focus toward higher-value materials. The company has officially started work on a Copper Clad Laminate project. This initiative is designed to supply critical materials for the electronics industry. To support this, the company has received in-principle approval for a Rs 472.34 crore investment under the Gujarat Electronics Policy.

This project is part of a larger plan to spend Rs 338 crore over the next three years to boost local manufacturing capacity. By aligning itself with government initiatives like the Production Linked Incentive scheme and the India Semiconductor Mission, the company is attempting to reduce its dependence on its traditional engineering business.

Investor Monitorables

While the expansion into electronics is a significant strategic move, investors should track the execution risk associated with such large capital spending. The company plans to deploy Rs 338 crore over three years, and the impact of this spending on debt levels and cash flow will be important to watch in future quarterly reports. Additionally, the success of the new project will depend on the company's ability to compete in the electronics-grade materials market, which is technically demanding compared to standard engineering products. Shareholders will also monitor whether the company can maintain its current profit margins as it scales up this new manufacturing unit.
