The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has approved a $400 million loan for Maharashtra to boost road connectivity. This results-based program will improve nearly 350 km of state highways and 2,577 km of rural roads across 34 districts, especially in Marathwada and Vidarbha. Over 1.7 million people are expected to benefit as better roads link rural communities to markets, services, and economic opportunities, fostering inclusive growth.
