Krystal Integrated Wins Rs 740 Crore Maharashtra Order

Krystal Integrated Services shares rose 4% after the company, as part of a consortium, secured Rs 740 crore in government contracts for sewage treatment. The deal adds to the company's order book, though investors will monitor whether rising operational costs impact profit margins.

Krystal Integrated Services shares traded nearly 4% higher on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, following the announcement of two significant work orders from the Maharashtra government. The company, as part of the 'LC Infra-Krystal Consortium', secured contracts worth Rs 740.06 crore to develop sewage treatment plants and drainage networks in the Pune and Nagpur revenue divisions.

Krystal holds a 40% stake in this consortium, which means its share of the contract value is approximately Rs 296 crore. The project is being executed on an engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) basis. This means the company is responsible for the design, material procurement, and actual building of the infrastructure. The project is scheduled for completion within two years under the Swachh Maharashtra Mission 2.0 initiative.

This order win comes shortly after the company released its financial results for the first quarter of FY27. For the quarter ending June 2026, the company reported revenue from operations of Rs 360.71 crore, an 11.65% increase compared to the same quarter the previous year. Net profit for the period grew by 6.30% to reach Rs 17.36 crore.

While the company has shown steady revenue growth, investors are closely watching its profit margins. The company’s operating profit margin was 6.32% in the first quarter of FY27, which is slightly lower than the 6.61% seen in the same quarter last year. This dip suggests that while the company is winning more business, rising input or operational costs are putting pressure on the bottom line.

Execution remains a critical monitorable for government infrastructure projects of this scale. As the company scales its operations, it must manage working capital efficiently to ensure that cash flow is not strained by the time required to complete these projects. The primary focus for shareholders in the coming quarters will be the speed of project execution and whether the company can improve its margins while managing these new, large-scale contracts.
