KEC International, part of the RPG Group, announced it has secured new orders worth Rs 1,002 crore. These wins span its transmission and distribution (T&D), renewable energy, and transportation business segments, adding to its growing order book.
Transmission & Distribution Wins
The T&D business secured orders from India and the Americas. Key projects include a 500 kV High Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) transmission line from a private developer in Western India. The company will also carry out 132 kV cabling works for a steel producer in Eastern India and supply towers, hardware, and poles in the Americas.
Renewable Energy Expansion
In its renewable energy segment, KEC International won an order for a 100+ megawatt (MW) wind project in Southern India. This repeat order from a current client demonstrates its strong standing in the wind energy market.
Transportation Gains
The transportation business secured two orders for advanced automatic block signalling (ABS) in Southern India. The cables and conductors division also reported multiple domestic and international orders, expanding its market presence.

He added, "Our renewables business expanded its wind energy segment with a repeat order, and the transportation business reinforced its position in the ABS segment."
