Indrajaal, a Hyderabad-based firm specializing in anti-drone technology, announced Wednesday it secured multiple contracts worth ₹100 crore from the Ministry of Defence. These agreements will see the deployment of its multi-layered autonomous anti-drone systems protecting key Indian Army and Indian Navy assets.
Defence Ministry Contracts Awarded
The contracts involve deploying Indrajaal's systems at naval ports along the western seaboard and at eastern border strategic locations for the Indian Army. Kiran Raju, founder and CEO of Indrajaal, stated these orders mark a significant advancement for India's defence manufacturing sector.
Indrajaal's Autonomous Anti-Drone System
Indrajaal's advanced counter-drone suite is designed with capabilities including cyber takeover, soft-denial, soft-kill, and hard-kill measures. It can detect, track, and neutralize airborne threats comprehensively and without delay. The system operates on the proprietary SkyOS C5ISRT platform, integrating command, control, communications, computers, cyber defence, intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance, and targeting into a unified solution.
National Security Implications
This AI-powered system enables real-time decision-making, reducing response times from minutes to mere seconds with minimal human oversight. Raju emphasized that the deployment strengthens national security by fostering autonomy, resilience, and indigenous innovation within India's defence ecosystem.
