BLS International Services announced on Tuesday that it has secured a significant five-year global contract with the Slovak Republic. This agreement mandates the company to establish and operate Visa Application Centres (VACs) in more than 80 countries worldwide. The mandate spans major regions including South America, North America, Europe, Africa, Asia, and the Middle East, marking a substantial expansion of BLS International's consular services footprint.
Under the terms of the agreement, BLS International will be responsible for the complete setup and management of these VACs. The centres will feature upgraded infrastructure, advanced technology systems, and multilingual staff, designed to streamline and enhance the security of the visa application process.
Shikhar Aggarwal, Joint Managing Director of BLS International, stated that the contract "reflects our expanding global footprint" and highlights the trusted quality of service and governance standards that governments globally rely upon.
This win further solidifies BLS International's leading position in the global visa outsourcing market. The company already operates in over 70 countries and processes millions of applications annually.
The announcement follows BLS International's recent report of its strongest-ever quarterly performance for Q2 FY26. Consolidated revenue increased by 48.8% year-on-year to ₹736.6 crore, and net profit rose by 27.4% to ₹185.7 crore.
As of 2:47 pm on Tuesday, shares of BLS International were trading at ₹325.50 on the National Stock Exchange (NSE), showing resilience after an intraday low of ₹318.75.
Impact
This contract is a significant achievement for BLS International, expected to drive substantial revenue growth and further entrench its market leadership in the global visa outsourcing sector. The expansion into a broad network of countries demonstrates the company's operational capabilities and its reliability for government contracts, which could boost investor confidence and positively influence its stock performance. The scale of the deal underscores the increasing demand for efficient and technologically advanced visa processing solutions.
