Developing Local Tech: TBMs and Propulsion

Beyond project bids, the partnership aims to develop local propulsion systems and Tunnel Boring Machines (TBMs). DMRC Managing Director Vikas Kumar highlighted the importance of self-reliance. He suggested that by combining DMRC's technical expertise with BEML's manufacturing capabilities, they can create world-class, indigenously designed TBMs for future infrastructure projects.
