5 Firms Commit ₹469 Cr for Projects in Yamuna Expressway

Five companies have committed to invest ₹469 crore in the Yamuna Expressway region to set up new industrial units. The land allotments were formalised at the UP International Trade Show 2026, aimed at boosting manufacturing near the upcoming Jewar Airport. For investors, this signals sustained industrial growth in the corridor, though the actual benefit for the regional economy will depend on the successful execution and operational start of these projects.

Five industrial entities have officially committed a total of ₹469 crore for expansion projects in the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) region. The land allotment letters were handed over at the UP International Trade Show 2026, marking a significant step toward developing the manufacturing corridor located near the upcoming Noida International Airport at Jewar.

The investment comprises five separate projects covering a total land area of 71,190 square meters. The largest capital commitment was made by Perfectpack Limited, which plans to spend ₹125 crore on a 16,200-square-meter facility. This project is projected to create 700 new jobs. C&R Textiles Private Limited also announced a major expansion with a ₹104 crore investment for a 16,000-square-meter plant, targeting a workforce of 2,000 employees.

Other companies participating in this expansion include SABS Exports International Private Limited, which committed ₹87 crore for a 16,180-square-meter facility. Simplast India Private Limited is set to invest ₹78 crore across 12,000 square meters, while Sahu Exports Private Limited has allocated ₹75 crore for a 10,810-square-meter site. Combined, these projects are expected to generate over 4,600 employment opportunities in the region.

The Yamuna Expressway region has increasingly become a preferred location for manufacturers due to its strategic connectivity and proximity to the future Jewar Airport. For investors, this development highlights a shift in industrial interest toward the region, which is supported by planned logistics and infrastructure improvements. While these companies are largely private entities, the consistent flow of industrial capital into YEIDA suggests a positive outlook for the surrounding infrastructure ecosystem, including local construction, power, and logistics sectors that often support such large-scale industrial projects.

From an investor perspective, the primary monitorable for the regional economy remains the pace of implementation. While commitments of this scale reflect confidence in the infrastructure, the ultimate impact on regional productivity depends on how quickly these firms can transition from land possession to operational status. Investors may track future updates regarding project commissioning, the actual flow of capital expenditure, and any subsequent infrastructure developments in the YEIDA corridor to gauge the sustained momentum of this industrial hub.
