Yatharth Hospital & Trauma Care Services expects over 37% revenue growth in FY27, backed by strong Q1 results. While management navigates potential private hospital pricing reforms, they emphasize that their competitive pricing provides a buffer, though investors remain focused on regulatory impact and execution of new projects.
Yatharth Hospital & Trauma Care Services has maintained an optimistic growth outlook, projecting revenue growth of over 37% for the financial year 2026-27. This projection comes after a strong performance in the first quarter of the year, where the company reported consolidated revenue of ₹392.7 crore, a 51% increase compared to the same period last year.
The company’s profitability also saw gains, with EBITDA reaching ₹91.7 crore, up 39% year-on-year, representing an EBITDA margin of 23.3%. Net profit for the quarter rose by 12.1% to ₹47.1 crore. These figures reflect the company's efforts to scale operations, with newer facilities in Greater Faridabad, New Delhi, Faridabad Sector 20, and Agra contributing significantly—approximately 27%—to the group’s total revenue during the quarter.
Management is currently addressing concerns regarding potential government regulations on private hospital pricing, including caps on room tariffs and procedure costs. Yatharth Tyagi, Whole-Time Director, has indicated that the company is well-positioned for such scenarios. Because the hospital's current pricing is already 10-15% lower than many larger listed hospital chains, the impact of potential tariff caps might be less severe for them compared to premium-priced peers. However, the management cautioned that any drastic reduction in pricing without balancing costs in areas like staff remuneration, pharmaceuticals, and diagnostics could pressure service quality across the industry.
While the company remains confident, investors are closely monitoring the risks associated with rapid expansion and regulatory shifts. The company is currently executing a 250-bed hospital project in Gurugram, which is expected to be operational by the first quarter of FY28. This capital-intensive expansion requires careful execution to avoid debt or margin pressure.
In addition to the operational updates, the company has announced its maiden interim dividend, with a record date set for August 14, 2026. Going forward, the primary monitorables for investors will be the sustainability of margins amid potential regulatory intervention, the execution timeline of the new Gurugram facility, and how effectively the company integrates its recent acquisitions to maintain the current pace of growth.
