Manipal Health IPO Allotment: How to Check Status Today

Manipal Health Enterprises will finalize its IPO share allotment today, August 3. With a subscription of 4.92 times, investors can check their status on the registrar's website or the BSE/NSE platforms before the expected listing on August 5.

Investors who applied for the Manipal Health Enterprises initial public offering (IPO) will know their share allotment status today, August 3, 2026. The Rs 9,275 crore issue concluded its subscription period on July 31, receiving a total subscription of 4.92 times. The company is set to make its stock market debut on the Bombay Stock Exchange and the National Stock Exchange on August 5, 2026.

Subscription and Investor Interest

The public offering saw varying levels of interest across investor categories. Qualified Institutional Buyers led the demand, subscribing 8.25 times the shares set aside for them. The Non-Institutional Investors segment, which includes high-net-worth individuals, saw a subscription of 1.02 times. Retail investors, who were required to commit a minimum of Rs 14,750 per lot, subscribed to 93 percent of their reserved portion.

Offer Composition and Use of Funds

This IPO consisted of a fresh issue of equity shares worth Rs 8,000 crore, alongside an offer for sale (OFS) by existing shareholders. The OFS portion involved 2.16 crore shares, with participants including TPG and Novo Holdings. The funds raised from the fresh issue are intended to support the company’s capital requirements and growth initiatives. The final share price has been set at the upper end of the Rs 560-590 price band.

Market Sentiment and Listing Expectations

While the subscription figures demonstrate demand, the unofficial grey market premium has turned negative, recently hovering around negative Rs 7. This indicator suggests the possibility of the stock listing at a slight discount to its issue price of Rs 590. Investors should note that grey market premiums are unofficial and do not guarantee the actual listing price on the stock exchange. The performance on the listing day will depend on broader market conditions and institutional buying activity at the time of the debut.

How to Track Allotment

Applicants can verify their allotment status by visiting the official website of the IPO registrar or the websites of the BSE and NSE. The process typically requires the investor's PAN or application number to check if shares have been credited. For those who do not receive an allotment, the process for the refund of application money is scheduled to be initiated by the company shortly after the finalization of the allotment process.
