Tata Power EV Charging Solutions Ltd (TPEVCSL) has significantly boosted electric vehicle charging infrastructure along the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway. New ultra-fast EV charging stations have been installed at the 63rd and 69th milestones on the Haryana section of the highway.
Strategic Station Deployment
At the 63rd milestone, TPEVCSL launched a 240 kW ultra-fast charging station with four charging guns, designed for vehicles heading from Delhi. A second station on the opposite side of the highway at the 69th milestone ensures charging access for EVs traveling in both directions.
Enhanced Accessibility and Capacity
These new stations can charge multiple vehicles at once, serving both personal and commercial EV users. This development is crucial for making long-distance EV travel more practical across India's key economic routes.
Network Growth and User Base
Tata Power, through its 'EZ Charge' brand, is rapidly growing its EV charging network. The company now provides over 200,000 home chargers, more than 6,700 public, semi-public, and fleet charging points, and over 1,200 E-bus charging points. This network covers more than 690 cities and towns, with over 500,000 registered customers. Chargers are placed in various locations including highways, hotels, malls, hospitals, offices, depots, and residential buildings to ensure broad accessibility.
