JSW Energy Gains Creditor Nod for Raigarh Champa Rail Infrastructure Acquisition

Overview

JSW Energy has received approval from creditors of Raigarh Champa Rail Infrastructure Private Limited (RCRIPL) to acquire the debt-laden entity. RCRIPL provides essential rail infrastructure for coal transportation to KSK Mahanadi Power Company, in which JSW Energy recently acquired a significant indirect ownership. The acquisition closure is pending approval from the National Company Law Tribunal.
