Adani Green Adds Two New Units for Power Generation
Adani Green Energy Ltd (AGEL) announced Thursday the establishment of two new step-down subsidiaries. Named ARE64L Step-One Renewable Energy Limited and ARE64L Step-Two Renewable Energy Limited, these entities were incorporated by AGEL's wholly-owned unit, Adani Renewable Energy Sixty Four Limited (ARE64L).
These newly formed subsidiaries are dedicated to generating power from renewable sources. The move aligns with AGEL's broader mission to develop, own, and operate utility-scale solar, wind, hybrid, and energy storage solutions.
Aligning with Adani Group's Clean Energy Goals
As a key part of the diversified Adani Group, AGEL's expansion efforts are central to the conglomerate's substantial investments in India's growing clean energy sector. The creation of these new entities shows a proactive strategy to scale operations and meet future energy needs with sustainable solutions.
Driving Renewable Energy Growth
This development signals continued investment and growth for AGEL's renewable energy portfolio. It reinforces the company's role as a major player in India's transition to greener power generation. AGEL's existing operations, spread across multiple states, already contribute significantly to national renewable energy targets.
