Sectoral performance was led by banking and financial services, with the Nifty Bank index up 0.54% and the Nifty Financial Services index up 0.55%.
Market breadth on the BSE was positive, with 2,124 stocks advancing compared to 1,939 declining stocks out of 4,303 traded. A substantial 150 stocks hit their 52-week highs, and 70 touched their 52-week lows. Additionally, 212 stocks hit their upper circuit limit, while 189 hit their lower circuit limit.
