Delhi Gears Up for Record Rs 1.8 Lakh Crore Wedding Trade Amid 'Vocal for Local' Push

The Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT) projects that Delhi will host a record trade worth Rs 1.8 lakh crore from around 4.8 lakh weddings during the current wedding season, which runs from November 1 to December 14. Overall, the Indian wedding economy is estimated to generate Rs 6.5 lakh crore in business this year.
