India's Ministry of Corporate Affairs is renewing efforts to finalize the Digital Competition Bill. Following the withdrawal of a previous draft due to stakeholder opposition, the Ministry is initiating a market study to establish evidence-based thresholds for 'Systemically Significant Digital Enterprises' (SSDEs) and core digital services. This move aims to inform future regulations for large tech companies operating in India.
