Overview

India's economic activity saw a slowdown in November, with the composite Purchasing Managers' Index (PMI) falling to 59.9 from 60.4 in October. Manufacturing PMI declined to 57.4, while services PMI rose slightly to 59.5. This deceleration was attributed to the slowest growth in new orders since May and the continued impact of US tariffs, which led to a significant slump in exports to the US. Job creation was also curbed due to these factors.
