India's merchandise trade with the United States has seen remarkable growth since 1992, increasing more than twenty-fold from approximately US$ 6 billion to over US$ 130 billion. In the fiscal year 2025, India's exports to the US reached about US$ 90 billion, constituting about 20% of India's total exports. This makes the US India's largest export destination by a significant margin.
