Union Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal met with venture capitalists and investment stakeholders to facilitate faster and smoother Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) and Foreign Institutional Investor (FII) flows. The discussions aimed at fostering higher investment, currency stability, and reduced inflation. Goyal also urged Indian businesses to diversify supply chains, build domestic manufacturing capacity, and leverage India's large pool of STEM graduates. The government is also focusing on fiscal discipline, innovation, and inclusive growth, with plans to introduce the third version of the Jan Vishwas Bill to ease business operations.
