Overview

Bitcoin's hashprice, a measure of miner revenue per unit of computing power, has dropped to its lowest point in five years, currently at $38.2 PH/s. This decline is driven by Bitcoin's price falling to $91,000 (down 30% from its peak), persistently high network difficulty near all-time highs, and extremely low transaction fees. Despite Bitcoin's hashrate remaining robust at over 1.1 ZH/s, the reduced revenue is impacting publicly traded Bitcoin mining stocks and related ETFs, with the CoinShares mining ETF (WGMI) down 43% from its peak.
